Be Still.

Privacy

Effective 25 October 2026

In short: Be Still collects no data about you. We can't see your name, your affirmations, your puzzles or how you use the app, because none of it is ever sent to us.

What stays on your device

The name you enter, the affirmations you write, your look and reminder settings, and any puzzle you are part way through are stored on your iPhone or iPad. The home-screen and lock-screen widget reads them from the same device. Deleting the app deletes them, unless iCloud sync (below) keeps a copy in your own iCloud.

No tracking

Be Still has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that collects data. It doesn't keep streaks, history or statistics. It makes no network connections of its own.

Reminders

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled on your device by iOS. Nothing is sent to us or to any server.

Still Plus purchases

Purchases, subscriptions, free trials, refunds and Family Sharing are handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account, under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details or who you are. Apple gives developers only anonymous, aggregated sales reports.

iCloud sync

With Still Plus, "Sync with iCloud" (in Settings, on unless you turn it off) keeps your name, look, affirmation themes and your own affirmations in step across your devices. They are stored in your own private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit, which only you can read; we have no access to it. Reminder settings and puzzles stay on each device. Turning sync off, or Still Plus ending, keeps everything on your device; to remove the iCloud copy, go to Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Account Storage, Still.

Children

Be Still collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
